Star Wars: Elee & Me, available November 3, 2020 exclusively at Target from Disney-Lucasfilm Press is the first Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge picture book. Artist Anna Daviscourt did the gorgeous illustrations. It’s set on the planet of Batuu and follows Salju, the owner of Black Spire Station, and her best friend Elee—a therii. The story is all about friendship.
As Walt Disney Imagineering portfolio creative executive Scott Trowbridge told D23.com, “These are two characters that we came up with when we were first conceiving the land and we just fell in love with these characters. It’s a great book about growing up but not growing apart from those we love.”
